Alayna Bell, native to Georgia, is currently living and working in Chicago as an active arts administrator and horn player. She got her Bachelors in Music Performance from Columbus State University in GA and Masters in Music Performance from DePaul University in Chicago. In addition to her musical goals, she is an avid arts administrator. Before moving to Chicago, she served as Operations Director and Education Coordinator at the Columbus Symphony Orchestra (GA) for three seasons and served as Program Manager for the Young Artist’s Harp Seminar and Competition since 2017. Since moving to Chicago, while pursuing her degree, she has worked as Music Librarian and Personal Assistant at Cliff Colnot Music, Inc. and an Ensemble Librarian for DePaul University. Currently, Alayna serves as the Ensemble Programs and Public Engagement Coordinator for the University of Illinois Chicago. In her free time, she loves to stay active, cook, and spend time with family, friends, and her chubby, twelve-year-old cat, Gertle.
