Myron Elliott is a costume designer, technician, and educator. Chicago area design work includes A Red Orchid Theater, Steppenwolf Theatre, Theatre at the Center, and Concert Dance Inc. Regional collaborations include Indiana Repertory Theatre, The Ohio Light Opera, and Stages St. Louis.
Myron has worked in Chicago costume shops for 10 years, including The Theatre School at DePaul University where he served as Shop Manager, as well as Steppenwolf Theatre and Chicago Shakespeare where he worked as a draper—positions that have introduced him into the wonderful costuming community in Chicago.
Areas of focus include costume design, patternmaking, embellishment, hand and machine knitting, and knitwear design.
